Hi, my name is Ted Pedersen.

I have been working with technology and art my entire life. Creativity drives me and technology is my tactical engine. Starting in music production, I studied at Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA before starting work as a recording engineer in film and music. Painting color with sounds is something I especially enjoy. I worked in studio and live sound for 6 years, and I continue to this day in my home recording studio.

My love of the arts took me into Graphic Design in 2006, where I mastered Photoshop and Illustrator. After formal study at MiraCosta College in San Diego, I honed my graphic design skills at The OAS (Outdoor advertising Specialist) where I designed hundreds of fliers, banners and web ads.

I began to study web technologies, and soon began an internship at the prestigious SEO Inc in San Diego. This top web shop taught me HTML, CSS, JS, LAMP stack, first hand.

I then started a freelance business, designing websites for many businesses and people around the country. I continue freelance work on a project by project basis.

I have been working at eBay for the past 6 years. I enjoy prototyping new apps, designing frameworks, and building design minded culture. I have been fortunate to work on high level projects such as The eBay Design Playbook with former CEO John Donahoe, and John Maeda, former President of Rhode Island school of Design.
